After 14 years of meditating cross-legged, meditating while standing up has now become my default method. This style of meditation leads to a light trance and a spontaneous flow of movements in my arms and legs. I have noticed that this method has affected the channel above my head. My channel used to feel narrow and it seemed to open in short bursts. Now my channel feels broad and is open for much longer periods. In fact, it seems like a sky of inspiration is above me for most of the day. It seems that my new active style of meditation is a good way to bring the wisdom of a trance into everyday activity.
