This morning I had one of my typical migraines (about half an hour of visual disturbance, followed by a bad headache). As usual, I found that if I relaxed my shoulders during the migraine, I had visions of a loved person who passed away some years ago. This phenomenon is something I discovered five years ago, when I noticed that my daughter and I were developing migraines at the same time, and there was a strong atmosphere in the room at the time.
Interestingly, the neurological effects which occur at the beginning of a migraine are known, in medical fields, as a migraine 'aura'. I have decided that the visions which I have during a migraine are not just a neurological trick. Sceptics would probably say that the migraine consists of a neurological disturbance which can include hallucinations. I say that the migraine consists of a physiological state which makes me more psychic, OR that the visit from a dead person actually sets off the migraine. I think its more than a hallucination because, during the vision, I often receive useful guidance. Also, my daughter would often feel like she was getting a migraine while I was seeing a vision of a dead family member who wanted to talk to her.
I wonder if other people have noticed that they are more psychic during a migraine, or that
